What promises to be one of the best PODAS workshops ever is only a few days away. We begin our workshop in the Palouse area of Washington this Wednesday (August 24th). We will end the workshop driving folks back to the airport on Monday (August 29th). We have 4 great instructors and the inventor of the NEW IQ series backs on this workshop. Our instructors are Michael Reichmann, Art Wolfe, Mark Dubovoy and Jeff Schewe as well as Claus Mølgaard (Chief Technology Officer and Vice President R&D at Phase One). There will be 5 Phase One team members along to assist including Claus Pedersen – (President US). Leading the workshops will be Kevin Raber – (Vice President) with Murray Elliott, Jon Gilbert and Brent Siebenaler. It’s not to often you will find a team of executives as well as sales and support member in the field shooting with attendees. Speaking of attendees there are 28 attendees from around the world. All attendees will be shooting with a Phase One IQ160 camera system for the duration of the workshop. Classroom sessions will include training on Capture One and the use of the cameras. Also, each instructor has a presentation. This is a no worries workshop. Phase One arranges and takes care of everything for one fee. We pick you up at the airport and return you there after the workshop. Everyone gets their own room, meals, transportation, a camera bag, 2-30×40 prints, and a lot of time with instructors and staff. Anyone who has been on a PODAS workshop knows you don’t get a lot of sleep as we will be shooting sunrise each day and working until late at night on images. Everyone will tell you that they make great new friends and have an awful lot o fun. Oh, everyone walks off with some pretty darn good images too. Watch the blog here as we will be making regular postings highlighting our adventure.
