I am back in Death Valley for a few days. DV always offers up some of the most unusual weather. Driving in last evening the wind was blowing so hard pebbles and dust were flying and beating the car. Then all night long the wind blew so hard the building would rattle. I woke up at 4:45 with all intentions of doing a sunrise shot, but there was a major downpour. Yes, once again I visit the desert and it is raining. So, I slept in a bit which was nice. I am sitting in the lobby updating the blog and doing emails and looking over the valley to snow covered mountains. Quite nice!
I have friends joining me from Australia today as well as past PODAS attendees. It is nice to always have company for shoots in such a beautiful place. We will be visiting the race track and other great sites over the next few days.
My main mission is to book the Furnace Creek Resort again for another Death Valley Experience in early April of 2011. This is a magnificent location and will surely once again be a most incredible event. Look for more information soon as we announce 2011 workshops.
